JustDial and IndiaMART leads: how to stop paying for enquiries nobody calls
Portal leads are expensive and time-sensitive. A repeatable way to pull JustDial, IndiaMART, 99acres and MagicBricks enquiries into one queue, assign them instantly, call within minutes and see which portal actually converts.

Portal leads are the most expensive enquiries most Indian SMBs buy. IndiaMART, JustDial, 99acres, MagicBricks, Housing, TradeIndia: each sends a stream of “someone is interested” and each bills you whether or not anyone calls back. The gap between the SMS alert and the actual call is where the money leaks.
The three leaks
- Delay. The alert lands on the owner’s phone; the caller gets it at the evening handover. The buyer has already spoken to three others.
- Duplication. Two callers ring the same enquiry because nobody owns it.
- Blindness. Month-end, nobody knows which portal produced actual buyers, so the renewals are decided by gut.
One queue for all portals
Get every portal’s leads into a place SensyConnect can read:
- API where available. IndiaMART’s lead API and partner APIs can push straight to an endpoint or a sheet.
- Sheet everywhere else. Alerts forwarded to a sheet (via a connector), or a scheduled export pasted into the sheet.
- One source per portal, each with a name and its own rotation.
New rows import automatically, get assigned round robin, ping the caller’s phone and sit at the top of the auto dialer queue.
Rotation by portal, not by person
Portal leads are not equal. IndiaMART B2B enquiries want a specific price; JustDial local enquiries want a callback in ten minutes; property portals want a site visit. Put the right people on each:
- IndiaMART sheet → two senior callers who know pricing.
- JustDial sheet → whoever is free, widest rotation, speed matters most.
- 99acres / MagicBricks → the site-visit team.
The call itself
Because the lead arrives with source and details, the caller opens with context: “You enquired on IndiaMART about 50 units of X.” After the call, two taps: status and remark. If “Interested”, the catalogue goes on WhatsApp automatically. Follow-up reminder rings later.
Month-end: which portal to renew
Filter the dashboard by source: leads in, connected, interested, won. Divide the portal’s monthly bill by interested (or won). That is cost per real lead. Renew the ones that earn it; negotiate or drop the rest. This single number pays for the whole system.
Do not forget the old exports
Every portal account has months of old enquiries. Export once, import as a tagged list, run it through the auto dialer with statuses on. A surprising number are still buyers.

Frequently asked
Can JustDial or IndiaMART push leads automatically?
IndiaMART offers a lead API and email/SMS alerts; JustDial sends SMS/email and has partner APIs. Either can land in a sheet or an endpoint, which SensyConnect reads. Where an API is not available, a scheduled export into the sheet works.
Should the same callers handle all portals?
Usually not. Portal leads differ in quality and intent. Put your closers on the high-intent portal and rotate the rest wider.
How do I compare portals?
Tag each source, capture status after every call, and read interested and won per source on the dashboard. Cost per interested lead is the honest number.
